Belintersat, the Belarusian national satellite communications operator, held successful business negotiations with the leadership of the Chinese corporation China Satcom. The meeting took place on August 26 in the People’s Republic of China and focused on promoting satellite communication services in the African region.
The parties conducted a detailed analysis of a portfolio of promising projects scheduled for implementation in 2027. The partners paid particular attention to operational strategies amidst the unprecedentedly fierce competition posed by major global satellite providers actively expanding into the African market.
During the discussions, specialists outlined concrete steps to strengthen and develop their mutually beneficial cooperation. At the conclusion of the meeting, the China Satcom team expressed sincere appreciation to their Belarusian colleagues for years of collaboration and their significant contribution to the development of projects in the field of space communications.
