April 12 – World Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics!

Today, the whole world celebrates one of the greatest events in the history of mankind – the first manned space flight. On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin was the first to orbit the Earth on board the “Vostok-1” spaceship, opening the way for mankind to explore space and becoming the most famous person on the planet Earth.

This holiday is an occasion to express great gratitude to people whose work is connected with the greatest tension of human forces and risk, all those courageous and faithful to duty people whose daily work is connected with the sky, aviation and astronautics.

The Belintersat-1 team warmly congratulates everyone on this great holiday. We wish everyone a peaceful sky above their heads, high flights and successful landings. May your dreams and aspirations always be elevated, your health allows you to be in from on the line for many years, and your loved ones enjoy the care and warmth of your soul.

May new heights be conquered and new expanses be developed!
