On July 7, 2021, the BELINTERSAT-1 satellite will count down its 2,000th day of flight. Launched in January 2016 from the Cosmodrome Xichang Launch Facility, the satellite continues to successfully relay telecommunication signals to its customers in Asia, Europe and Africa.
