On October 14, Belarus celebrates the most heartfelt holiday – Mother’s Day. The date corresponds to the holiday – the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This Orthodox holiday is based on the legend of the appearance of the Mother of God in Constantinople at the beginning of the 10th century, the essence of which was a deeply respectful attitude towards the mother woman.
The image of a mother in the life of almost every person is associated with kindness, tenderness and care. Our memories are full of moral motherly lessons. Thanks to colossal patience, faith and love, mothers inspire their children to achieve success and give them the strength to overcome difficulties with dignity.
