On February 10, a delegation from the Myanmar Space Agency (MSA), led by Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mye Than, visited Belintersat.
The business visit was part of scientific and technical cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Myanmar Space Agency (MSA). The corresponding memorandum of cooperation was signed in June 2025.
During the meeting, the head of the delegation, Mye Than, noted the high potential of the KAM in developing cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in the space sector and outlined a course for strengthening bilateral mutually beneficial relations in the field of space development, including cooperation in the preparation and implementation of joint scientific events.
The purpose of introducing the delegation to the National Satellite Communications and Broadcasting System of the Republic of Belarus was to demonstrate the KAM’s interest in the opportunities offered by Belintersat in the field of telecommunications in Myanmar.
KAM representatives were given a tour of the ground control complex (GCC), during which the foreign guests were introduced to modern technologies for monitoring and controlling spacecraft, as well as the hardware and software system that ensures the stable operation of the GCC.
During the talks, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and opportunities for further cooperation, noting the constructive and friendly nature of the business meeting.
