On a cognitive excursion on the eve of the summer holidays schoolchildren from Tomkovichi village of Dzerzhinsky district came to the BELINTERSAT-1 Ground Control Station.
The children visited the Satellite Control Center, the Communication Operation Control Centre, the antenna field, and with the staff of DTH and VSAT department the guys learned how to install a portable satellite dish. The specialists of the center told about how the communication satellites work and answered a lot of questions about how satellites are put into the GEO orbit and provided services.
