The Belintersat team is always happy to welcome guests and participate in interesting television projects. On November 21, a new meeting with the Belteleradiocompany film crew was organized on the territory of the ground control complex.
Belintersat became a participant in the cultural and tourist project called “The Route is Built” of the Belarus-1 TV channel. Thematically, the idea is to tell about the sights of the cities and towns of Belarus in an exciting way, to reveal the features of their development, to show the potential of traveling around the Belarusian land.
The host and editor Victoria Poplevchenkova with genuine inquisitiveness asked literally about everything, from the inception of the idea of creating the Belintersat-1 telecommunications satellite to the end of its service life. Space nuances associated with the functioning of the device in orbit and the features of supporting its operability from Earth were not left aside. They also touched on the reasons for choosing the location of the ground control complex in the place where the NKU is now.
The guests were very interested in the detailed story of Oleg Vinyarsky, head of the ground control complex, about the history of the creation and development of the space brand.
The meeting with the film crew resulted in a firm conviction – “There will be new routes! We are building them together!”.
