On March 10-11, 2020 the group of staff members of the Ground Control Station and Teleport of the National System of Satellite Communication and Broadcast of the Republic of Belarus visited the city of Abuja, the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
On 10/03/2020 they attended the “Content for Digital TV – Effective Management and Successful Monetisation” Forum. The Forum was organized by Broadcast Media Africa platform while its lead partners were EUTELSAT and SES. In the course of the meetings held at the Forum by the Belarusian representatives the information about the services offered by BELINTERSAT was communicated to Chair of Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) Ms. Hajia Sa’a Ibrahim and several BON members. They also discussed with Broadcast Media Africa Chief Executive Mr. Benjamin Pius the opportunities for cooperation. On 11/03/2020 the Belarusian representatives took part in the consultations with Strong Solutions Ltd. and African Union Financial Services entities concerning the joint project facilitation and visited the Abuja-based teleport of NIGCOMSAT, the Nigerian national satellite operator.
