On November 14th -16th, 2017 in Minsk, the representatives of the Belintersat project met with a delegation from The State Inspection for Supervision of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Use at the Ministry of Communication of Turkmenistan and “Turkmen Hemrasy” CJSC. Leaders of Belinter MEDIA LIMITED (Hong Kong) and Vicus-Luxlink (Luxembourg) also took part in the meeting.
The main topic of the negotiations was the improvement of international technical coordination for operating BELINTERSAT-1 and TürkmenÄlem 52°E/MonacoSAT satellites. During the talks, measures were discussed to minimize the possibility of mutual interference in the operation of satellites and the conclusion of inter-operator coordination agreement. Revision of these proposals is planned to continue after their further study by the Turkmenistan side.
