On January 15th, 2016 at 19.57 (Minsk time) a successful launch of the first Belarusian telecommunication satellite took place from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center (People’s Republic of China).
For now, the communications satellite “BELINTERSAT-1” has made 724 circuits round the Earth. During the flight none of extraordinary events that could affect the efficiency and the quality of the services provided were revealed; all the systems are functioning in the normal mode, all the parameters are within the prescribed limits.
Currently, the major part of the satellite’s resources is involved in commercial exploitation and prospective testing, work with potential customers in foreign and domestic markets gives us confidence in successful development of the project.
The leaders and the team of the Belintersat project congratulate the customers and the partners of the project with the significant date – the second anniversary of the satellite launch.
